Serving Local & State Government Retirees in Durham, Franklin, Granville, Orange, Person, Vance & Warren Counties
The Butner Chapter of the North Carolina Retired Governmental Employees’ Association holds two meetings each year on the 2nd Tuesday in January and July. Our meeting is open to all local governmental (city/county) retirees and state governmental retirees and teachers in Durham, Franklin, Granville, Orange, Person, Vance and Warren counties.
Our chapter meets twice a year in Butner at the Murdoch Chapel on the campus of the Murdoch Center. The Chapel’s address is 1600 East C Street, Butner. Our meetings are open to all local government (city/county) retirees and state governmental retirees and teachers. You do not have to be an NCRGEA member to attend our Butner Chapter meetings.
Meeting program are designed for specific interest of our retiree attendees and keep them updates on issues involving their retirement benefits, cost of living adjustments (COLAs), their health insurance and legislation that can impact their lives.
