Butner Chapter  District 4 | Chapter 1

Serving Local & State Government Retirees in Durham, Franklin, Granville, Orange, Person, Vance & Warren Counties

The Butner Chapter of the North Carolina Retired Governmental Employees’ Association holds two meetings each year on the 2nd Tuesday in March and October.  Our meeting is open to all local governmental (city/county) retirees and state governmental retirees and teachers in Durham, Franklin, Granville, Orange, Person, Vance and Warren counties.

Our chapter meets twice a year in Butner in the Murdoch Chapel on the campus of the Murdoch Center.  You do not have to be an NCRGEA member to attend our Butner Chapter meetings.  Meeting programs are designed for the specific interest of our retiree attendees.  We keep you updated on issues involving your local and state retirement benefits, cost of living adjustments (COLAs), issues impacting your health insurance and legislation that can impact your retiree life.
