Mission: To advance, promote, and protect the benefits, interests, and well-being of North Carolina’s retired state and local public servants.

Vision: The voice and go-to resource for North Carolina’s retired public servants.

NCRGEA District Community Connections are all about you and your quality of life in retirement.  We are reaching out into communities across North Carolina to ensure you are living your best life in retirement.  We are asking that you join our Community Advisory Boards (CABs) so that your voice can be heard around topics and activities of interest to you!

The District Community Connections webpage will be updated to ensure you are aware of what is available in your respective district and others.

The NCRGEA is divided into 9 Districts across the State and will have CABs in every district.  The CABs offer you an opportunity to tell us how you want to be engaged and to discuss topics that are of importance to you in retirement.

For 2021-2022, the three projects across all Districts are:

1) Health and Wellness and the Senior Centers
2) Advocacy Training
3) “Welcome to Retirement” initiative

Each District will adjust the activities specific to your geographical and informational needs.   Your NCRGEA is for you! So, get involved and engage with fellow retirees for your best life!

If you are interested in participating in your local District CAB, please complete this survey.

HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR DISTRICT, please email Deryl Davis Fulmer, NCRGEA Community Liaison at deryl@ncrgea.com or call 919-980-6681.
